How old were you when you first started shaving downstairs?? I am curious because I've noticed that people my age (I'm a freshman in hs) always comment on how much better it is to shave there and how pubes are "gross" (this is coming from GIRLS btw)... I don't see anything wrong with having unshaven pubic hair, especially at my age (I'm the only one who's going to see down there), and even trimming there makes me itch like crazy. So I was wondering when do you think that the right age for shaving your pubes is?? (Sorry for such a long question!! I ramble a lot 😅😅😅)

I am so confused by these responses. I wasn't even shaving my legs until I was 13! I definitely didn't start shaving down there until college. And I don't shave now...I just trim because my partner likes it that way. I suggest to NOT shave unless you're in a serious relationship and he/she told you they like a shaved pussy better. Shaving down there is SO uncomfortable. You're itchy for days and it's just the worst. I highly recommend not doing it yet.

I started shaving them regularly when I was 12. I wasn't sexually active but the hair down there was super uncomfortable, I prefer cleanly shaven phbes just because it feels better but growing them out is okay too, whatever you prefer!

I think I was in high school. Started getting sexually active and my then boyfriend had asked me to trim down the hair for oral.

It made sense and so I just used some nair and I actually hate having  any hair down there. It bothers me and I tend to go commando all of the time. Or if I wear underwear for my husband and it tends to stick out off the side. It's just annoying and doesn't look pleasing. But your le a high school kid and if it doesn't bother you then leave it alone. Everyone's different and you're young. You can always trim it down if it's too crazy. Or shave. Or nair it. But nair can burn so be very careful.

I was 20 and I'm 36 now. My BF (now my hubby) wanted me to shave so I did and I still keep it trimmed very short or completely shaved.

Don't feel pressured to do something you don't want to do.

I started shaving at the age of 12 because i got bullied about it. Personally I don't believe there is anything gross about javing hair. It should be something you do because of personal preference. 
If you want to shave then shave but if not then not. It's your body no one elses 😊
I very rarely shave now as I get extremely sore when I do amd my boyfriend couldn't care less.

I started as soon as I noticed it started growing tbh. I hate it and I don’t remember having any hair down there ever since I saw it the first time. But honestly you don’t have to do it, if it makes you uncomfortable leave it alone and be you, natural Is always good. There’s nothing wrong with it.
