Printed photos, white border or no border?

Please reply with advice if you are a professional or really good amateur photographer, or have studied photography 😀

I'm a photographer, and I usually print mine full shot no border. But it all really depends on what kind of picture it is, I'm mostly a nature and archetecture photographer so it doesn't look good with a border around it. But with portraits they can look fantastic with a border, kinda depends on your preferd aesthetic as well

It depends on the picture. Some pictures look really great with a white border around them, but then again some pictures looks good with a full frame shot and no border.

It's all a personal preference, but when I go through my photos I look at all my options before printing!

I have my bachelors in digital photography and you are supposed to have a boarder when you print. That is so the frame does not cover or hide parts of the image and you also have a safe spot for you to hold the printed image and not worry about finger prints.
