When did you introduce a bottle?

How old was your baby when you introduced a bottle and how did it go! Was there nipple confusion? Was it a struggle? Just trying to prepare myself!

Don't wait too long. Bottle refusal is super stressful. My baby has gotten at least 1 bottle a day since he's been born.

I had to introduce at bottle at 3days old since my baby wasn't persistent in suckling.  I became a exclusive pumper for 4weeks until I decided we should try again. She went on like a champ so now we ebf n there were no nipple confusion at all

Three days old. She also took a paci and used a shield. We had no nipple confusion. Although now at 7 months she's getting smart and starting to refuse a bottle.

3 weeks old.  My lactation consultant was crazy strict about this and didn't want him to see a bottle until absolutely necessary. But my maternity leave was only 6 weeks and I wanted to be sure he was used to bottles before I had to leave him.  He did great, we had zero issues.  He's 10 months old now and still breastfeeding

5 days, after he wouldn't breastfeed one night, I had to run out and buy a pump to bottle feed him.

4 days old. I've used pacifier, bottle and a shield and now I'm ebf and he's doing great!!

3 days old. You never know what could happen and if i wasnt there for baby to eat i would want him to be ok with someone else feeding him a bottle.
