Safe to swaddle?

So my baby girl is 8 weeks old and is starting to roll over.. is it safe to swaddle still?

My grandma literally just texted me like two days ago and was like new studies show to stop swaddling at 2 months. That's when they start to roll over!😂😅

We stopped swaddling when baby girl was three weeks old because she was fighting the swaddle and rolling my to her side. She sleeps on her side now at nine weeks in a random sleep sack

We stopped swaddling two weeks ago because our LO has been rolling belly to back since 5 weeks and has been consistently rolling to her side during sleep for the last two weeks. If your worried about it start with swaddling one arm out for a couple of days then both arms out and finally go to no swaddle. We moved up to just the halo sleep sacks (without the swaddle option) at night and she's been sleeping like a champ since.

We still swaddle at 9 weeks, but when she starts to roll a little bit like your LO is, I think I'm going to leave an arm out and start to wean her off the swaddle. Keeping the one arm out will help protect her if she does roll over completely, either keep her from being completely facedown, or to give her the ability to move or elevate herself if she needs to. Who knows, maybe I'll change my mind and take her out of them completely, but that's my plan anyway lol
