Am I The Only One Having Leaking with Dr. Brown's Bottles?

I swear these bottles unscrew itself. I lost like half a bottle of milk while feeding my son last night so I had to change him while all groggy....and said some choice words that hope won't be his first words.

Mine leak too but she takes to them better than the avent ones. I use the f word all the time with the bottles though! They leak just standing up right!

Yes and it's so annoying especially when I pack bottles for travel to have hlf of it empty in her diaper bag😡

According to the pamphlet that comes with Dr. Brown bottles, to prevent leaks you must take out the vent if you are going to heat milk up. I learned that the hard way.  But, this is not the only time my bottles have leaked.  Last week I went out and took 2 bottles with 3 oz of breast milk in each. Both bottles leaked just from being in the diaper bag. Only thing I can think of doing is putting the vent in right before I give baby the bottle, which would be annoying.

We bought the travel caps for the diaper bag. If you make sure the green vent (I have the options ones) is tight and that any bubbles produced by heating or shaking have left, it helps.

I have always used these with all my children. My last baby was 6 years ago and boy has the quality in the bottles gone to hell! I got them for my 4th baby and HATE them. They leak no matter what I do! I threw them in the trash. We just EBF now. I will have to look for a new brand if I give him another bottle. I have tried joovy boob and like it so maybe I stick with that one.

Some of mine leak no matter how tight the top is on.  It is annoying but they are the only bottles that work for her so we just have to use a bib and maybe throw out the one that leaks
