How can I help my husband to go throw this??

Question

We lost our little baby last friday...I'm devastated....but I think my husband it's even worst than me...and I don't know how to help him or gove him hope.

Anyone?? An advice??

It's really difficult to be bad ourselves and then trying to help our partners... I know it's part of the process, but I don't know how to deal with it.

I'm so sad right now...I missed my little angel, my hopes, my dreams, my happines...and I missed my husband joy, his smile...

I am so sorry you all are going through this. When we lost our son 3 months ago I took it the hardest because I carried him inside of me for 5.5 months but he was there at every appointment he would sing to my stomach and talk to the baby all the time so I know he suffered tremendously but he was trying to hold it together for my benefit. He's do-er and I'm a cryer so I had to let him grieve in his own way. I try to talk about our son but a lot of times he shuts down but then he will initiate about our son in the wee hours of the morning and I just listen. I bring him information from the support group and therapist all the time I am not sure if he reads it but he knows that it's there. The best thing you can do is offer support and pray for his peace and comfort in time the grief will become softer

I feel the same way about my husband. He's been trying to be strong and take care of me, but wasn't really processing his own feelings. Something that I found helped to get him talking and leaning on me was taking some long walks and just asking him some questions, which got him talking some. I also suggested he reach out to his parents and I think that helped. He's not one to share his feelings with his friends, so I don't expect him to go to them, but I did tell a few of his closest friends to keep an eye on him. It's hard when both of you are going through it and dealing with it in different ways, let alone that men and women process emotional stuff differently. Hang in there.

Oh no Consuelo I lost my baby on Monday due to an ectopic pregnancy. I'm so sorry to hear you're going through a loss. It's a horrendous feeling but God is good. He will help you and your husband through this. He is helping me and my husband although it feels like the pain will never end, I believe joy will come soon. Keep praying and you will see a miracle happen. I will keep you in my prayers xx
