Is it okay to dye or even cut your hair? I'm not sure if it's a myth.. but growing up I heard it's not good to dye or even cut your hair while pregnant, it can cause complications.

It's recommended to wait to dye your hair until after the first trimester. The concern is when the dye is touching your scalp the chemicals are then being absorbed into your bloodstream and potentially passed to the rapidly developing fetus whose obviously a lot more sensitive to the chemicals than a grown adult. My hairdresser said highlights or dying where the dye isn't directly on the skin is the safest bet.
