ex boyfriends mom delima.....

So apparently my ex has moved on and found a new girl and was living with her. Great good for him. Well apparently they were renting a place from the girls mom who is crazy so they left. They tried to stay with his parents but his mom doesn't like te girl and thinks she is really bad for him (I do too) so instead of just her leaving they decided to go to the complete other side of the state, no jobs, they panhandle and sell art for money, and live in her car. His mom wants me to try to get him to come home before the girl harms him any more mentally. I've texted him sayin he should go home that his family wants him and missss him and that I'm worried about him. Should I keep trying? For his moms sake? Or just let him live in a car with a girl who has MPD and has no medication and let him become homeless so she wouldn't be alone.
