Anyone else have a traumatic delivery? While it's nice to read about all the easy, non medicated, happy delivery stories, did anyone else have a terrible experience? I had a retained placenta and third degree tear that sent me to the OR for three hours while my newborn baby, that I held for ten minutes post delivery, was whisked away to the NICU because I had a fever and she needed antibiotics. I also lost 40% of my blood volume and needed a transfusion. Both baby and I are healthy and happy now at 9 weeks PP. And when people ask if we'd have another I want to cry. Anyone in the same boat?😕
