My apartment building had electrical issues last month. My bill ended up being $350! I've never had a bill that insane in my life! So I planned on moving out and I am on March 1st. I just got my bill for this month and it's only $160. The electrical company was very helpful and it was no fault of theirs, it was an accurate meter reading. Not only this - but now my apartment is up for grabs online for $75 less a month! So not only have I been paying nearly $100 more than what the apartment is worth, the electrical issues in the building made me throw out $200 extra in electricity! My landlord is blaming all of this on me. What can I do?
