Virgin GF / Non Virgin BF struggles 😳

I have been dating my boyfriend for nearly a year. We're both 17; I'm a virgin he's not. We're both mentally and physically down but he says he wants to wait (for a pretty dang long time). Am I being too pushy? Is it weird that he's not a virgin, but wants to wait to have sex with me? Somebody tell me I'm not crazy
