nipple sizes?

I really don't get these. My newborn only takes the dr Browns size 1, and slow flow nipples. He's almost 5months. When do I switch flows? I tried size 2 and he choked. The only time he gets size 2 or medium is when I put cereal in his bottle. (Fuck your opinion on that, I'm asking about nipples) I don't get these sizes lol. FTM.

I use avent bottles and was using a level 1 with my daughter. She was drinking WAY too fast and gagging. So I switched to level zero which is slow. She is one month old tho. If your baby is gagging or choking on the higher level nipple then I'd stick to what works for him. And also discuss with your pediatrician.

Maybe talk to your pediatrician. I just switched my four month old from level 1 to level 2 no issues.
