My husband & I went and looked at this house last night & it is beautiful both inside and out. It's a newer home & it has everything we are looking for & under our budget. Buttttt.... the neighborhood isn't a "nicer" neighborhood. Portsmouth is an old town as it is, but some of the houses around this one are nice, and some or not. I don't want to say it's in the "ghetto" but I know my dad would def disapprove when he comes to visit.. our real estate agent said it's not a bad neighborhood & we don't feel not safe.. we drove by last night & it was quiet which we liked.. my question is, would you still get it? It's 10 min from my husband's work, close to Walmart & Kroger, and the tunnels..? 

 

***we got the crime records & there weren't any listed in the last year. Everyone says Portsmouth is ghetto, but I was raised in a small old town back in Arkansas so Portsmouth is def not ghetto to us. Crime rate Is bad, but we haven't had Any problems here so far.
