Facebook question

My ex boyfriend - who had me blocked this morning, recently liked my picture  , which means he unblocked me . Once I seen the notification I tried looking at his profile but can't see it. I know based on what I've done that you can't block someone so soon after unblocking them and I can see his profile from a friends account. This man has an epo on me so I'm just kind of wondering what he has up his sleeve, he knows that we aren't to be in contact with one another. Why can't I see his profile now?
