*UPDATE!! BFP* Husband has klinefelters, using a donor

Ashley • Married since 7/23/2011 to my best friend Myco! Expecting baby William 7/2018

So my husband was diagnosed with klinefelters about 4 years ago when we were first ttc, he has a 0 sperm count. For a long time we talked about trying with IVF with micro-TESE to hopefully find some sperm to use. After A LOT of discussion we decided against it and opted for IUI with a donor. It took a long time for us to decide this and be excited for it. I went through heart break because I wanted our future kids to have both of our DNA but over time I realised, the DNA doesn't matter as much as both of us raising the child together and they will still be OUR kids. My husbands family has a lot of health issues so he is actually happy that our kids will be less likely to have any of the possible health issues that comes from that side and is calling the donor the superman genes. It wasn't easy reaching this decision but we are excited to try now.

Has anyone else dealt with male infertility and decided to use a donor? .............. ... ..... It finally happened!!!!!!! After 6 IUI and just about to head into IVF we finally got the BFP using the donor!!!! I'm now at 6w5d. Baby dust to everyone who is on the journey!!!
