One pregnant women to another I could use some encouragement. I've been having steady contractions for over 24hrs. Went to L&D last night as they were 10min apart and being Im a ftm I wanted to go early being I live a distance. They kept me 3 hours and sent me home bevause I wasn't dilating anymore from 4cm. They told me to come back when the contractions were 5 minutes apart. So sure enough I went back this morning at 9am woth them 5 minutes apart. They gave me a shot of morphine for the pain and after another 3 hrs sent me back home. The morphine helped the terrible back pain and minimized the contractions for awhile. I'm so frustrated. I came back when they said, and after shipping me home a second time they told me to come back when they were every 2-3 minutes apart. Im in a ton of pain and still only 4cm dilated. Contractions still regular at 5 minutes lasting a minute. How long can they keep me at 4cm and miserable. Feel so defeated already.
