baby shower?

What's a good week to have the baby shower by? My mother in law is throwing one for us and the date she picked has me at almost 33 weeks. Normally that'd be fine but already at 26+ weeks I'm mostly sitting/reclining and out of breath and in pain I can only imagine the monster I'll be by the time the shower gets here. I'm just wondering if I should ask her to move it up a couple weeks or leave it where it's at.

Do it sooner if you can. My first was at 24 weeks and I had a nice time. Then, I had one at 32 weeks and just wanted everyone to leave the whole time.

Had mine at 31w I feel like it was ideal timing, could've been a couple weeks before.

Im having mine at 28. Im 20 weeks now and ao exhausted,  out of breath, frustrated,  sore  and moody that I dont know what will become of me by 33. All my singletons were 33 weekish baby showers but no way not for twins

I'm having b/g twins who are meauring big. I had my shower at 30 weeks and I'm so glad I didn't wait any longer. I think 28-30 is the best time (even earlier). At 32 weeks I was put on bed rest and I've been miserable since. I had felt pretty good until the day before I turned 32 weeks. I have daily irregular contractions, I can barely walk from the round ligament pain and there is a lot of pressure on my lady parts. Do it earlier!!!

It's really hard to know. I had mine at 30 weeks. It felt like a good time where I wasn't too big, uncomfortable, and simply worn out.   I was just worried about scheduling it for later because of all of the early twin deliveries. It is really about how you feel. If you think you will not be up for it physically, I think it is okay to suggest an earlier date.
