true contractions?

I'm a FTM and have no clue what contractions feel like. I'm having cramps very low. Almost feel like right above my thighs if that makes sense. About every ten minutes. Last one minute. Contractions?

I'm not sure because I was having cramps in my lower stomach and was told I wasn't having contractions at all. I guess I was having bh and they were very uncomfortable. Very nervous to feel actual contractions

It sounds like it, contractions can be different for everyone! Download a contraction timer and start tracking them. I've been having contractions for a week now but none of them turned into normal labor. Today I had them every 5-7 minutes for 2 hours then they stopped all together.
