confuse bout birth control

Hey, everyone..ok I'm waiting for my birth control implate to be ready..now the woman was being really pushy bout gettin the one in my V that last 5 yrs..now I wanted the one in my arm, but I'm not ready to be a mother anytime soon. If anyone has this done let me kno if hurts when having sex or if u have rough sex cn ur man push it more in? I'm new to birth control stuff.
