Almost 9 month old son sleeping on his tummy! It's is ok?

My 8 month old son  almost 9 months on the 1st of March is starting to sleep in his crib. When I lay him down I put him down on his back next thing you know he is sleeping on his tummy... he does this all the time. Any recommendations?? Is this ok??

My son has been sleeping on his stomach since he could roll over. When he was younger I tried to roll him over and it just woke him up.

He is 8 months now and I just leave him, of he can roll over on his own he is fine.

Yes once they start to roll back and fourth they know to keep their head to the side. I was worried at first with both my kids but it's been so much betger my almost 9 month old sleeps so much better being able to roll on her side or tummy at night. The first couple weeks were rough I would get up and check on her but now I don't.

I've heard that once they are strong enough to roll onto their stomach on their own that you can leave them there because they are strong enough to roll back if they needed to

I would leave him alone. My son is everywhere in the crib. Sideways facedown face up i dont dare touch him. He wakes up so easily. Cant even put a blanket on him 😀sometimes...

Totally normal. It ok as long as they can roll tummy to back on their own! ☺

If they can roll it's fine, they will move if they can't breathe.

My pediatrician told us that if my son does it on his own it's fine. He started just before 6 months and I would constantly roll him back over.

Our little boy LOVES to sleep on his tummy. He is all over the place all night. Never in the same spot where we left him lol. It's fine. Once thwy can get over by themselves it's ok to let them sleep there.
