For 10 months I never drank because we were TTC. Went the enitre summer without a sibgke drink, which is hard with my family and in-laws. We decided to take a break at 11 months because we were too stressed, and I drank around Thanksgiving. Got super frisky with my husband. Got my BFP like 10 days later. I still crave alcohol sometimes, but never drink even though my doctor said wine is totally okay. It's not medically necessary to stop drinking before trying, because baby doesn't get anything from you until you're like 6weeks, and the placenta starts to work. So that is a personal choice.

Trying is my vote. Not wanting to actively ttc till I'm sober but this is a struggle for many women.  No judgements.  Will not ttc till bottles down though.  Due to stress blah blah it's a comfort.  Trying but not ttc till done.
