Dr said that if the baby doesn't move I might have to be induced for c-section

My baby is breech and the doctor told me that if he is not positioned I might have to get a c-section, at 40w , if the baby doesn't move, can I ask to be induced at 39?? Would he do it? I'm 38 .. I don't wanna wait anymore! Like I said.. IF THE BABY DOESNT MOVE...
