Baby Update: Born at 32 weeks 6 days
I posted my daughter was born on Tuesday at 32+6. Here's an update on her. Her name is Lumen Grace. She is doing very well and eating more and more and sleeping and growing. She's still breathing on her own but the past couple days she's been having drops in her oxygen because she likes to go into a deep sleep and hold her breath and forget to breathe. Her discharge date is her due date, 4/12 but she could come sooner, it just all depends on her and the progress she can make. It's been hard being at home without my baby but I spend most of my days at the hospital with her. She's dropped down to 3lbs 14oz but will hopefully be putting the weight back on shortly. They've started giving her proteins and lipids to help plump her up. She's developed some jaundice but they put her under the lights and it seems to be helping so far. We still have a long road ahead of us and we're not expecting her to come home until at least the end of March.
