My baby's head falls forward in his car seat. Is this normal? Any suggestions so that it won't do that?

Is your seat installed correctly? I don't think my baby's head ever fell forward, to the side, but not forward

Do you have a newborn insert in? I took it out at 6 weeks and her head doesn't fall forward anymore.

My baby's does that! We ended up putting this blue piece in. I spoke with our fire department and police department about it and they said it's a gut feeling type of thing whether to use it or not (like it isn't unsafe unless you decide it is and it isn't illegal here). It may void the car seat's warranty, but in the end, if my baby is in an accident it is better that her head have this padding holding her head in place than to fling around all crazy everywhere. (Sorry it's a dark photo, I was showing my husband how good she was being waiting at the doctors office 😂😂)
