I'm 39.6 today. Had contractions from last night and came into hospital at 7am this morning when contractions were 4 mins apart. I'm now 12 hours in hospital and contractions have died down and I now have little or no pain. Nothing consistent. I have requested to go home until real labour has started but haven't been allowed yet. Has anyone been in this position where you thought you were in labour with regular contractions but then everything died down. How long did you wait for real Labour to kick start again
