So discouraged!

I have been having irregular, very painful contractions for a few weeks. Last night they started coming 3-4 minutes apart for 2 HOURS so I went to the hospital, and they eventually sent me home because I was still only 1 cm and 60% effaced and the contractions started getting less painful. I'm so sick of being in pain and having lightning crotch every couple minutes. Anyone have a similar experience? I feel nothing today. 😢
