Diarrhea as a sign of labor to come?

Anyone heard (or experienced) diarrhea as a sign that labor is right around the corner

I've definitely heard it's a sign of labor, it's your body cleaning out and getting ready but then again I had some last week and also lots of Braxton hicks and period type cramps and totally thought I was getting close. Now I'm 39+2 and feeling normal as ever (other then being extremely pregnant and generally uncomfortable of course) 😫

The only thing I've heard is its your body's way of ridding all of the waste so you don't poop while you push. Whether it's a for sure sign, I'm not positive.
