Hcg ??

My hcg level is 140 and they did a US in the urgent care but could see no baby what does that mean. I ask because they said I am pregnant.

Maybe it's too early to be able to see a baby

They usually don't see anything until your levels are 1500

When my hcg was around that number I was barely over 4 weeks and you can't see anything on an ultrasound that early. Even at 5 weeks you usually don't see anything. The earliest I've ever had an ultrasound was 6 weeks and there was just a speck

Did they do a translational ultrasound or just a regular one? If you're less than 8 weeks along it's common not to see anything on a regular ultrasound.
