I've lived in California my entire life. There are always going to be race problems wherever you go, but we're pretty diverse here in SoCal ✌️

Most of the West coast, Oregon, Washington, and California.

I'm from MA and took my husband there and he was shocked at how accepting and no one cared what color he was. If they don't like you it's you not your color. Just my opinion.

I live in Washington and I don't feel like it's very racist. My MIL is racist, but she's literally the only person that I know personally who is. But I was raised to not care about the color of someone's skin and I know a lot of my friends were raised the same way.

Well I've lived in two states (Florida and Maryland) and then DC. Of the three, I think DC is the best just based off of experiences with people. You can't escape the racism but it's less noticeable. The thing is though a good portion of people who live there aren't from DC. (unless you go to maybe Southeast.) Florida was full of racism but I  did grow up in the middle of nowhere. Everyone called the black neighborhood the quaters if that tells you anything. Maryland isn't that bad but again it depends on what part of the state you're in. I've experienced racism in all three but less in DC.
