period two days late

my husband & I have been ttc for about a year now. my period is now two days late but I took a test yesterday & got a bfn 😔. I have been spotting for about a week now which is normal before my cycle. I am feeling nauseous a lot this past week as well. I know it could be late from stress which I have had a lot of here lately.
