Me and my uh.. ex? Broke up 2 hours ago,

I'm currently breaking down due to depression and this, I asked why. He said I changed, I told him my mother is very sick and almost dying, doubt he believed me. As me and him live 4 hours away, I was planning on telling him tonight. But, you know. I had bought plane tickets, I told him. He said. "We both know that's not true" I can't handle losing him. Help me please...
