I bled off and on for up to a month at a time for two years before I finally had enough and had it taken out.

I had the implanon, basically just the earlier model of the nexplanon. I got it when I was 15, so about 7 years ago. I honestly loved it. It wasn't painful when it was put in, I didn't have to worry about missing any pills, and it worked for a long time. It was the perfect fit for me at the time, and I honestly don't remember having any problems with it

There are so many different extremities, I've done all the research on it because I was so nervous in getting it. Everyone is so different so there is no telling how it would react with one certain person. I've been on it almost three months and I'm starting to normalize and regulate now. I don't really have a period and my hormones are evening out. I'd recommend giving it a shot.

I had it for a year and bled 3 weeks out of every month. I personally hated it and I got super moody on it. Got it taken out and went to pills and finally had a regulated period 😌

I had got mine in September 2015. The process of putting it in did not hurt. Bruised my arm for a few days but it was bearable. I gained 40 pounds in a month and didn't know why. I tried to lose weight by drinking water, changing my diet, exercising and none of it worked. My hair started thinning and my face was breaking out bad. I never had a period. I went to get it taken out in October 2016 and my hair immediately started thickening back up, I lost ten pounds within two weeks. My cleared up. I have been on the pill and depo shot before the nexaplon and I would prefer the shot!

I had mine in for three years until it expired I then got it replaced however the second one moved under my muscle and caused nerve damage in my left arm I had to have surgery to get it removed by plastic surgeons it was slightly traumatic for me. This is the scar I was left with I'm in the Uk and

Had it for 8 months. Was very down (at the beginning) made me ill (side effect can be flu like symtoms), hair started to fall out. Had like 2 month long periods with very little break.

Yet those 8 months were so worth not having to worry about getting pregnant. Yes, it didn't work for me but I guess every body is different and I certainly don't regret getting it.

I got it numbed with insertion and removal (some only get it numbed with removal) and it literally was so pain free. Nothing at all.
