Asking my man to prom

So I want to ask my boyfriend to prom. He's two years older than me and not in high school anymore so he'll be coming to mine and I want to make it special and cute by asking him in a creative way. I have NO IDEA how to do it. For homecoming I asked him in a fishing type theme because he's obsessed with fishing, but no I have no clue what I should do.
