miscarriage/period???

Would you consider your miscarriage as part of your cycle for the month you miscarried?? I'm EXTREMELY irregular so I'm unsure as to what others say/know. And how long after your miscarriage will you ovulate for? I started ovulating right after my miscarriage and it's been going on for almost a week. Just wanted to see if this is normal.

I had a D&C. My doctor explained that the bleeding afterward was not my period but said I would ovulate before getting my first period post-miscarriage.

So you should ovulate sometime between the loss and your first period. The dating is difficult though because your body just went through a lot and it could be a few weeks before that first period. If you're cleared to start TTC again you can either use OPKs to track or just do it when you're in the mood and hope for the best.
