Have you ever visited the beach in March?

Have you ever been to the beach in March or when the weather is high 60s? If so what did you do and how did you dress. Did you swim in the ocean?

I live in an area surrounded by beaches in North Devon, England. It’s freezing in the winter. But doesn’t stop us taking the kids there. Layer up! And take spare clothes! My two like to run and jump over the small waves on the shore. And most the time end up soaking!

Sure I've been to the beach in March- in MEXICO! Lol. Lbvs.

Aside from that trip, I have not been to the ocean in March. However, we have a lot of lakes in our state and many long, cold months (including march).

Trips to the lake beaches in March are cold- 50's and 40's here. But the kids (and we) must get outdoors or we go crazy.

Layer, layer, layer! We typically have on socks/shoes, jeans/pants, t-shirt, hoodie and a jacket (ski jacket, depending on how cold you get.)

If the sun is out and once the kids are runnning around, they can peel off a layer and not be miserable. With the wind coming off of the water and typically cooler temps, this will really come in handy.

Blankets, radio, reading material, outdoor toys and snacks and we are good to go!

I've visted key west in January and yes I swimmed in the ocean. March should be absolutely beautiful. Just depends where you're going.
