Premature baby...momma or not?

I had my baby boy a week ago and everyone tells me everything will be fine. But, I don't feel like a mom and I don't feel like I had a baby. When I was just starting to enjoy being pregnant he came, at 23 weeks and 6days. Life sucks and I miss feeling him kick and grow. Am I really a mom bc I had a c-section and haven't held him yet (he's 7 days old).

( I had a c section too and I don't feel less of a mom because of it because it had to be done for the safety of my baby)  Sending hugs and positive vibes your way. ☺️

Of course you're a mom! Just because you had a c section and haven't held in yet doesn't mean you aren't a mom. The mom feeling will come to you. It takes time sometimes. Sometimes I STILL don't feel like a mom.

You are a mom. Just because you didn't push him out doesn't make you less of a mom and you will have plenty of time to hold him once he is ready to leave the hospital. Keep your head up and once you can finally bring him home it'll get so much better ❤
