No sex for a month after HSG?!

Hi, ladies -

At my first fertility appointmentment yesterday, it was recommended that I get an HSG before starting clomid (makes sense). BUT my doc says we can't have unprotected sex until my next cycle because of the radiation.

Everything I'm reading says it's such minimal radiation, and the egg is still protected so early on, that BDing is fine. I'm even seeing that people get pregnant right after their HSG!

I'm very anxious to get pregnant and don't want to skip a whole month if it's not absolutely necessary.

Do you all have any experience with this?
