what to get for a friends shower on a budget?

A friend of mine is having her shower this weekend, I of course am expecting too so we're on a budget & EVERYTHING she wants is expensive. What would you say would be nice inexpensive gifts to buy? I was thinking an outfit, a toy & a small package of diapers?? I'm not sure 🤷🏼‍♀️😭

I'd just get a package of diapers, maybe a set of onesies (one of those packs that has like 5-6 from Walmart). They're pretty inexpensive and cute, like $10. and some wipes. She should be understanding that you have a little one coming too 😊

I never expect anyone to buy the most expensive items for me. She shouldn't either. I think what u listed would be a great gift to receive.

Go to Walmart, spend about 10-20 bucks and buy all the baby essentials. Like..... nail clippers, nose asperaters, little brush, newborn medicine dispenser, thermometer..... stuff like that. I know they sell that stuff at Walmart for cheap and some stuff already comes together in a little package. 💙💙  it's all stuff that will be useful for newborns.

Shoot we bought my cousin a $2 pack of pretty ribbon hair bow clips for her baby girl and it even came with a pretty ribbon to hang the clips on. We tore the price tag and store tag off and put it in a little $1 giftbag and she LOVED IT.
