UK.. what to expect ?

I have a drs appointment as I've been TTC for 10 months with no luck. I'm 36 and I've read that if you don't conceive within 6 months then you should see a dr.

What should I expect On my first visit ?

Mine started with a day 21 blood test which tests you are ovulating. The Gp did this for me and then also referred me to a specialist where they tested it again and did an AMH blood test to see how many eggs you have. They will also do an internal ultrasound. The last test is the one where they put dye inside to check your tubes aren't blocked. They will also want to check your partners sperm sample.  Hope that helps! Good luck x

I'm in the process of this too 😏 I've been TTC for 5 months properly and off the pill for 6. Had my 21 day bloods taken (yep your right it's about 7 Ish days before AF is due), you have to be tested another cycle then I'm getting a scan and hsg test then if all ok my partners sperm will be tested and take it from there 🙏🏽 x

I've been on glow since December and been trying since April 2016. Been using clear blue ovulation kit since December too but I ovulate roughly the same time according to clear blue and still nothing. Here's hoping the gp helps us find the reason x

Yes I've got an appointment 7 days before A/F is due for blood test. I thought that was for a 28 day cycle but I'm around 30-33 day cycle. My partner has to do a sperm sample too but I think that will be after my tests.
