Bleeding while carrying twins?

Anyone experienced bleeding in the first trimester while pregnant with twins? I'm currently experiencing this but nothing heavy and no cramps.

I did at 8 weeks and it was a good amount of bright red blood too. I thought I had a miscarriage and then found out I was having twins! I've had two more episodes of medium flow bright red blood but never any cramps and each time the babies were completely fine and super healthy. I've read that it's actually quite common to bleed like that when you're having twins or more just as long as the bleeding isn't followed by heavy cramps. Also it can be due to your placenta being low. It's always to double check with your doctor though. Good luck and have a happy pregnancy!

I did only once and it was after Sex and it only lasted a few days the doctor was not concerned at all said it was very common with carrying multiples and to only worry if you also have cramps and back pain

Yep I had random bleeding at 8 weeks, 20 and 28 weeks. They had no idea why I'm now 33 weeks and doing fine. Glad your babies are doing good!

I had light brown spotting from about 5-8 weeks. Then at 14 weeks I had a red bleed which was terrifying. After an emergency ultrasound showed both babies moving around with strong heartbeats I felt a bit more at ease but continued to spot brown for another 2 weeks. I'm 17w3d now and the spotting has stopped completely but the doctor said not to be alarmed if it starts up again. It's much more common in twin pregnancies. They couldn't determine the source of the bleeding-ultrasound looked clear-but said it could just be a sensitive cervix. Seeing any blood is scary but try to stay calm. Call your doctor and ask for a scan to ease your mind if need be.

Yes, I had some light spotting starting at 8 weeks. The doctor did not seem too concerned.
