Has anyone had problems with an electric breast pump hurting? My MIL threw a baby shower for me last weekend, and in the list of things they got me was a breast pump - a medela single manual breast pump - not what I asked for or had on my registry. Their reasoning with this was that my SILs supposedly had an electric and they didn't like it cause it their nipples.

I have tendonitis in my dominant wrist which flares up when my thumb is used too much (constant writing etc) so I needed an electric and returned the one they got me and got the one I had on my registry.

Has anyone had any problems or are my sister in laws just special and used it wrong. I was always told if it hurt its because you're not using the right size.
