I'm in highschool and I met my boyfriend on July 15, 2016 we've been together for 7 months and ever since we came back from winter break our relationship started going down hill. We don't see eachother for the whole day until 2:53 for just 10 minutes because he's doing credit retrieval. TODAY I ASKED HIM IF I AM ONE OF HIS #1 PRIORITY and this is what he said "Like I've told you before, I have a lot of things going on in my life right now and it's not a good time to manage a relationship. I have responsibilities that do take priority over you, for the moment. I need to focus on school and getting caught up. I have to make sure Athena has food and licensing no matter what I have to sacrifice. So I'm sorry but no, you are not my #1 priority right now. I have to worry about getting a job and monthly payments and Making sure my mom is okay. I don't really know if you understand and I don't need you to. I need you to respect it, that's all I ask. Okay?" Later on he said "Like I told you, I know you don't like it, but I have responsibilities and you do too. High school is not a good time for legitimate long-term relationships" I feel so hurt that some that I LOVE decided to say that me. We both lost our VIRGINITY TOGETHER so I don't want to give up on the realtionship. I don't know what to do. I'm hurt.
