How long is too long for a period?

This is my first real period after birth control and I thought it was over yesterday, barely anything, but today it was super heavy with cramps and such. Ugh idk

When I was young, I'd have 10-12 day long periods because apparently I did something to gravely offend the menstrual fairy. Now that I'm 30, they're very regular. 6 days, tops.

Coming off of birth control can mess that up for a little while. Unless you're on day 11 or something, or it keeps happening for several months, I wouldn't worry too much.

It can take up to 6 months for your period to regulate again. My first period after coming of BC was 2 weeks late...
