Is there something wrong with me?

I totally get that birth control isn't for everyone, but whenever I take the pill, it makes me get my period nonstop. I bled for weeks straight the last time I took the pill and it took forever for my cycle to get back on track. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I had the exact same issue on the pill, so I switched to depo shots and had the same issue again, then I got an implant and still had the issue for the first year and sporadically in the next two. My doctor told me it was normal and everyone reacts to their birth control a little differently. For me it was either a constant heavy period for a month or more, or just no bleeding at all for months.

Is there something wrong with me?
