Should I test for pregnancy or ovulation ?

- I am supposed to be in my fertile week and I just wondered if period like feelings were normal when around ovulation time - I am also light headed and dizzy at times.

My reason for questioning pregnancy is of course one because I am TTC and second of all because I have irregular cycles between 29-36 I haven't noticed such a difference in length before until last month by I did get a period - could I have ovualtied late or twice and still had a period but be pregnanant now ?
