I am with a new partner who is more experienced than I am (he has been checked though so no concerns there). Our method so far has been condoms until I find a birth control I am certain about personally. We have been sexually active for a month (3rd feb), and very recently started with no condoms and then after getting into it we then use protection. He is very in control so is always certain to never cut anything too close and never close enough to where he feels close. He has apparently done this a lot and has had no troubles. 

I am going to be on my period in 10 days according to <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.glow.android.eve">eve</a>, I have not experienced anything abnormal and haven't personally seen the tell tale signs of pre-ejaculate after the fact. Should I be alright? 

(I plan to get an appointment for the Patch in the next few weeks)
