Did your nose piercing get infected?

I'm religiously cleaning mine, I'm so scared of it getting infected! Also how long did you wait to change your stud?

I didn't clean mine as much.. I think the more you mess with it the more likely it is to get infected.. but that's just my personal opinion. I had mine since 14 and changed the stud within a few weeks.

Looks like I'm in the minority on this one. My nose piercing didn't last long because it never healed properly. I would clean it as instructed but it stayed irritated all the time. I don't really know what I did wrong or if it was just that my skin was too sensitive. I wish I could've kept it, but eventually I just took it out because I was tired of it hurting.

I have a septum piercing, and it was one of the easiest piercings I've had. As long as you follow the proper cleaning methods, you should be good.

You should also wait for as long as your piercer told you it would heal. I don't recommend changing your jewelry any earlier unless it's necessary.

Nope! I've never had any problems with my piercings. I just don't touch them & honestly I didn't clean my nose ring everyday. I think that would irritate it more than anything.

Mine didn't. Just don't over clean it. Twice a day is just fine.

No issues with mine at all and I got it done when I was barging from binge drinking my freshman year of college. I was horrible at cleaning it and I changed the stud after a few days. If you're cleaning yours I'm sure you'll be fine. Also binge drinking isn't cute and barfing from it is gross. Don't do it. I learned my lesson(mostly).

Mine didn't get infected. And I'm totally guilty of not cleaning it as much as I should have and I changed it 3 weeks after getting it done, it wasn't fun though. Made my nose sore for a few days.

I don't have a nose one but my belly button was pierced and tbh I was sort of lazy with cleaning and it never got infected

I changed mine the day i did th2m, since i did them myself. Neither has gotten infected. I had the first since u was 13 and the second since i was 19.
