So i am a nurse and one of the neonatal doctors i work with were talking about how my supply has dropped since returning to work. After a long conversation she offered to give me her pumped breast milk that she doesnt need. She has a 13 month old who still nurses at home but doesnt drink her pumped milk. She just still pumps so she doesnt become engorged. She told me she normally just dumps it out everyday so she offered it to me. I completely trust her seeing as she is a newborn doctor. My question is do you think its weird to use her milk for my 4 month old baby? I am still pumping as well just dont get quite enough to maintain a stash without having to pump alot. The milk i get from her is always fresh from when she pumps at work and then puts it in the fridge for me to take home that day. What do you ladies think? Thanks for reading!
