At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot....

Jessica • Pregnant with baby #7
I'm lying here having some serious cramping, no matter how I'm positioned, this isn't my first baby, so I do know what contractions feel like, but I'm only 25 weeks, so it's the whole denial thing of "no, I'm only 25 weeks", I'm trying to time them, but when the pain hits it distracts me from looking at the time. Does anyone have anything that might help me differentiate from true contractions and false? I feel so stupid not knowing, but all my pregnancies have all been so different, and I also have a fear of "crying wolf", and I'm stubborn, probably the worst personality for being pregnant, lol! My youngest came super quick and my pain level seriously never passed a 4, I talked throughout the contractions, moved around, and functioned like a normal person not in labor, it was nothing like the typical labor stories you hear, which I think is why I'm so confused now. And the last thing I want to do is go to the hospital and it not be necessary, because we'd have to call someone to sit with our other kids, drive 30 mins to the hospital, and my husband just worked a 16 hour work day, and has to work again tomorrow, so I don't want to inconvenience anyone for nothing.
Sorry if I'm rambling.
