Not my problem but

so my boyfriend and i have been together for going on 3 years and i have never met his sister since he's cut her off because she's been on drugs. back in june? she moved down the road from us and since then she's had a baby girl (2 days ago) 3 weeks early, his sister was/is on methadone to get off of drugs 🤦🏼‍♀️ but that has made the baby addicted and is in the hospital for withdrawal for who knows how long.

my boyfriends mom is definitely going to help with the baby (the baby's dad is a junky too) but works a lot out of state for weeks to months at a time.

me being that kind of person i want to help if i can with the baby but my boyfriend wants nothing to do with his sister.

i'm torn between it not being my problem and not wanting to see a baby go through that.
